Collision Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) protects you in the event of damage to or theft of the rented vehicle and reduces the amount you are liable for (Excess). It means your financial responsibility is limited to the Excess amount. In general, CDW does not cover damages caused due to violation of the rental terms and conditions, vehicle wrong operation, willful actions, vandalization, acts of God, etc. You must check the specifics of a CDW with the rental station, as coverage and exceptions vary.
